Dubbing

For a long time it has been said in alias that films should be seen in their original version - perhaps with the addition of our subtitles for better understanding.
Meanwhile, we've gathered momentum and have dubbed feature films with an ever-growing pleasure and expertise.

A cast of actors who can understand what their colleagues are doing on-screen; the reason for a pause in the flow of words and how one language adapts to another's lip movements without losing its own rhythm. We try to reproduce the situation on the set as accurately as possible in the studio and use the latest technical tools to make sure that the spaces in the dubbed version sound the same as in the original ...

For this we have created a recording room with a screen and space for movement (with boom operators) and play, so that our dubbed versions are hardly distinguishable from the original versions.

However, our new passion has not supplanted our 20+ years experience of documentary filmmaking. We find the appropriate actors for each narration, re-create the language and emotion of the interviewees, and work on concise translations, and we help decide on voice-overs or subtitles.
